Tagged: My Simply Successful Secrets

Several bloggers have tagged me during the last few weeks on several meme's. I haven't forgotten you. The truth is that it's been a rough few weeks for me and at the time, I couldn't find any "thinking time". As with most things in life, "season's" change.
So if you have tagged me, my apologies for being late. However, I will reply all your tags in due course. Starting today!

It's been a while since I have been tagged for the Simply Successful Secrets by Sania.

#1. Breakfast
I know a few people who tend to ignore breakfast. To me, it is one of the important things to get my day going. To this day, I have never skipped breakfast. There have been days when I was "running late". On those days, I make sure I have "on the run" breakfast.

#2. Regular Exercise
I like to vary my exercises. It may be swimming one day, Ab crunchers another etc. In a way it takes off the monotonous nature in exercises. Also, it suites my schedule as well.

I don't exercise with the intention of loosing weight. It happens to be a positive side effect. ;-)

#3. Friends and Family
It is indeed very difficult to main "relationships" with your family and friends in this fast paced world. One of the areas that we tend to "postpone" is time spent with our family and friends. To me, play a big part of my life. Without their influence and support, I wouldn't be where I am today.

#4. Read
I try my best to read at least one good book a week. I generally use, book reviews as a guideline to select the "good books".

#5. Meditate
Up until a few months ago, I had no idea what mediation was. The one book, changed my perspective on meditation.

#6. Music
I enjoy both listing and making music :-).

Different people have different views on listening to music while working. I find it, easy to concentrate when I listen to music. I guess in a way it shuts out the rest of the world.
I play the piano and compose my own music. Armature stuff, but I find it entertaining.

#7. Reward Myself!
Sometimes, there may be small accomplishments which are not notable to others. But to you, it might bring a sense of achievement. My rewards range from one liter of chocolate ice cream , DVDs, technology gadgets to cloths!

I am aware that this is where I am supposed to tag a few others. However, everyone I know has already contributed to this tag. If you haven't, and would like to participate let me know, I will be sure to add your link here.

Good for you, seems like you're living the good life! And shame on me,,I've never been much of a breakfast person, and you would think being a full-time grandmother, I would take the time!
As for exercise,,I used the treadmill a few times this winter,,okay, twice,,and the dog has used it every darn day, twice a day.
As for my family,,,,sometimes I wish I was an only child! But I read at least 2 books a week, I meditate on (who should I kill first, and 'if I win the lottery')
and yes, I listen to music when the kids are gone for the weekend....and the neighbours listen to it too.

Thanks for participating in the Simply Successful Secrets project and sharing your wisdom with us!

You are SO right about breakfast! I used to be a personal trainer, and I can say with absolute certainty that kick-starting your metabolism each morning is a major step in the right direction for many different health benefits.

When you add in your other habits like exercise, family/friend time, and meditation, you are doing both your body and your mind many favors on a daily basis - keep up the great work!

Thanks again for participating, Shamelle, and I'll be sure to add a link to your site when I post the master list of success secrets once this project has run its course.
